Russian Caucasian KINJAL Dagger with Damascus Blade & Side Knife. A rather rare example with very unusual and distinctive blade structure showing active layered damascus patterns with the core of the blade clearly distinguishable and unique. The horn grips of traditional form adorned with gilt niello silver studs, matching mounts to the original leather bound wood scabbard. The other Rare thing about this specimen is the side knife housed on the back of the scabbard, that small utility knife has bone and horn sections grip and is seldom encountered on Caucasian daggers, definitely a Collection-worthy example. Dagger is 22 1/4", blade is 15 3/4", side knife is 6 1/4.Some break in the scabbard leather. Please look closely as I tried to give as much images as possible. The item "Rare 19th C.
