Antique Bowie Knife, Arkansas 17 Stamped on Blade. For your consideration is this Antique Bowie Knife, Arkansas 17 Stamped on Blade, wood Handle. The overall length is 16" the blade length is 10 1/4", it.

Is 1 1/2 at the widest point. Overall this fighting knife is in very nice condition. Please see close up pictures, the grip shows a thin age crack running about 3/4 of the way from the crossguard to the end of the handle.

The handle is held in place with 2 original rivets and is nice and tight. There are some carbon spots and rust as shown in pictures. This is an awesome piece of history.

Please see pictures and make your own opinion regarding condition etc. This knife is from an extensive collection of world edged weapons assembled in the 1970's & 80's by a Northern Florida antique dealer. Input, knowing mistakes will be made.
