WWII WKC German K98 Etched Blade Dagger Knife Dress Bayonet withScabbard & Frog
WWII German Short Dress Bayonet with Scabbard and Frog. Ricasso is marked with a Knights head over "WKC" which stands for Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Cie. Everything is tight with some small light nickel freckles on the pommel. The blade is etched on one side. Fur Erinnerung an Meine Dienstzeit. (In memory of my service time), it is. Straight, mostly clean, has not been sharpened, and the tip is blunted but still sharp. The lock button is functional. The black enameled scabbard is solid with no dents but does have some light scattered paint loss. The leather frog is pliable but the stitching is loose on both top corners and has let go to about a third of the way down.
Length of the blade measures 7 5/8" (7/8" wide x 3/16" thick spine), length of the bayonet is 12 1/2", in the scabbard it is 13 13/16", and the frog alone is 7 3/4". Check out my other War items!!
